BERKELEY - Football coach Jeff Tedford, Director of Athletics Sandy Barbour, men's crew coach Mike Teti and defensive lineman Ernest Owusu will also stop by the Paragon at the Claremont Hotel, Club and Spa Monday for the Cal Coaches Corner. The program runs from 6-7 p.m. and can be heard on KNEW Radio (910 AM).

Tedford will lead the Cal football back into action Saturday when the Golden Bears host Utah in the first Pac-12 meeting between the schools. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. at AT&T Park in San Francisco.

Owusu, a senior from Nashville, Tenn., has 14 tackles this season, including 4.5 for sacks. A political economy major, he earned first-team Academic All-District honors last year and is a two-time second-team Pac-10 All-Academic choice.

Barbour will talk about Cal's annual National Championship Week that starts Monday and concludes Saturday when the Bears' 2010-11 team and individual national champions will be introduced at halftime of the Cal-Utah football game. Last year, Cal captured NCAA titles in men's and women's swimming & diving, as well as the national rugby crown. In addition, Golden Bears won a combined individual 16 championships in track & field, rowing, swimming & diving and tennis.

Teti guided one of its boats - the freshman 8 - to an IRA title in 2011. The Bears are preparing to travel to Boston for the Head of Charles races on Sunday, Oct. 23.

The Cal Coaches Corner is hosted by Todd McKim and is broadcast each Monday from August through March and includes interviews and features with Golden Bear coaches, student-athletes and alumni from all 29 intercollegiate sports.
