BERKELEY - Cal Coaches Corner, a new hour-long program focusing on Cal Athletics and airing each Monday from 6-7 p.m. on KNEW Radio (910 AM), kicks off Aug. 30 with a collection of special guests, including football coach Jeff Tedford and Director of Athletics Sandy Barbour.

Hosted by Todd McKim, Cal Coaches Corner will be broadcast live from the Paragon at the Claremont Hotel Club and Spa in Berkeley.

Fans have the opportunity ask Tedford questions about the Golden Bears each week by submitting their queries online at CalBears.com/fanquestion.

In addition to Tedford and Barbour, senior quarterback Kevin Riley and volleyball head coach Rich Feller will also be on the radio with McKim on Monday's inaugural show. Riley leads all returning Pac-10 quarterbacks in career wins (15-8) and touchdown passes (37). Feller's squad, which is ranked 11th nationally entering the fall season, has advanced to at least the regional final of the NCAA Tournament the last three years, with a national semifinal berth in 2007.

Tune into the Cal Coaches Corner throughout the fall to hear from a litany of other guests, including Cal coaches, student-athletes from football and other Golden Bear sports, Cal alumni and more.

Cal Coaches Corner will continue with its primary football focus through Dec. 6, then shift to cover Mike Montgomery and Joanne Boyle's programs through the basketball season.
