Among the department's accomplishments were implementing a dynamic pricing model for football and men's basketball, the first university in the nation to do so. Cal also worked with the San Diego Padres to help build a professional-style ticket sales and marketing department. The department installed an outbound sales and customer service team, and successfully guided the re-opening of California Memorial Stadium to rave reviews.
