Listen Live on Cal All-Access (6 p.m. PT) BERKELEY - Forward Reshanda Gray, who contributed 19 points and eight rebounds in Cal's 71-54 women's basketball victory over Utah Sunday, will be one of four guests on Monday's Cal Coaches Corner. Basketball coaches Mike Montgomery and Lindsay Gottlieb, as well as swimmer Melissa Bates, will join Gray on the program that airs live from 6-7 p.m. from LaVal's Pizza in Berkeley. Fans are invited to watch in person or listen on NewsTalk 910 AM. Gray, a member of the Pac-12 All-Freshman team last year, earned her first start of this season for an injured Gennifer Brandon against Utah. For the year, the 6-3 sophomore out of Los Angeles is averaging 8.9 ppg and 5.3 rpg while shooting 53.3 percent from the floor. Gray, Gottlieb and the Bears are 17-2 overall this year and tied atop the Pac-12 standings with a 7-1 mark. Following a just-completed four-game homestand, they head to Oregon State Friday and Oregon Sunday. Montgomery's men's basketball squad is 11-8 after splitting road games at Utah and Colorado last week. Cal now returns home to Haas Pavilion to host Oregon State Thursday and conference-leader Oregon Saturday. Bates is a junior from Tustin for the two-time defending NCAA champion women's swimming & diving team. Last year, she was a member of the winning 200-yard medley relay at the Pac-12 Championships, and she ranks among the top 10 in school history in the 100 and 200 breaststroke events. The Cal Coaches Corner, hosted by Todd McKim, is broadcast each Monday from August through April at LeVal's (1834 Euclid St.) and includes interviews and features with Golden Bear coaches, student-athletes and alumni from all 29 intercollegiate sports.
