2013 CAL BASKETBALL CAMPS FOR GIRLS

Our camps provide instruction for players of all skill levels, as each camp is designed to emphasize individual improvement, fundamental skills, teamwork, sportsmanship and enjoyment.

KID’S CAMP

DATE: Monday, June 24, 2013 through Thursday, June 27, 2013
TIME: 9:00am to 4:00pm
AGES: 5 to 13 years old
COST: Day Camp: $300; Extended Care(4:00pm to 5:30pm): $50
LOCATION: Haas Pavilion

To develop and improve both basic and advanced skills such as shooting, passing, ball handling, and footwork. Instruction will be given through individual and group instruction with time allotted for practice, drills and games. Daily competitive games will allow campers to implement the skills they have learned. The camp will also feature fundamental skill stations, games and contests. All basketball interest levels and abilities are welcome!

BEAR FOR A DAY CAMP

DATE: Saturday, June 15th, 2013
TIME: 8:30am to 9:00pm
AGES: 7th- 12th graders
COST: $75
LOCATION: Haas Pavilion

A unique skills camp with a focus on making you a better individual player for the next level. This camp is geared for the skilled and motivated athlete. It will be ran by our head coach, Lindsay Gottlieb, her 3 assistant coaches, along with Cal players. Coach Gottlieb and her staff will help to improve your game by providing elite on court training as well as film sessions and clinics to improve your "basketball IQ". This camp will provide an inside view of the Cal Women's Basketball experience.

JAM FEST 1

DATE: Sunday, June 9th, 2013
TIME: First Tip-Off at 8:00am
AGES: High School Teams
COST: $475 per team
LOCATION: Haas Pavilion

The Jam Fest is a one day team camp that guarantees all teams 4 games. All high school, junior varsity, and AAU teams are welcome. You must have a minimum of 8 players per team. The focus of this camp is to play great competition, and to have the ability to work as a team with your coach to prepare for the upcoming season. There will be two leagues, Varsity and Junior Varsity, to differentiate levels of ability. All games will be played by regulation high school rules with certified officials. This camp fills up quickly, spots are available on a first come, first serve basis. Payment MUST be submitted prior to the beginning of play. Haas Pavilion, the home of Golden Bear Basketball, will play host to all camp sessions. Campers will have a maximum coach to player ratio so that each camper will receive a good amount of individual attention.

TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION

Due to University and NCAA Policies, we are not allowed to offer any transportation to and from camps. The airport closest to the Berkeley campus is Oakland International Airport; San Francisco International Airport is also within a reasonable distance.

There are a few shuttle services that offer transportation to and from Oakland & San Francisco International Airports. Reservations must be made at least a few days in advance, you can make reservations over the phone or online.
