Youth Skills Camp
Camp I: Monday, July 9th - Thursday, July 12th
Camp I AGES: Entering Grades 4 -6
Camp II: Monday, July 9th - Thursday, July 12th
Camp II AGES: Entering Grades 7-10
PRICE: $395 Commuter only (no overnight campers)

he Youth Skills Camp is a full-day camp designed for beginner to intermediate players who are entering grades 4 - 6 (Camp I) or grades 7 - 10 (Camp II) in the fall of 2012. Campers will receive instruction on the basic skills of volleyball (Attacking, Setting, Passing/Defense, Serving and Blocking) in a variety of individual, small group, and team settings.

Setter and Passer/Digger Camp
DATES: Monday, July 16th - Thursday, July 19th
AGES: 10 - 17 (Entering Grades 6 - 12), both male and female
PRICE: $395 Commuter only (no overnight campers)
Location:Haas Pavilion; RSP Field House
The Setter & Passer/Digger Camp is designed as two camps training the technical skills of each position. Players will sign up for either position (Setter or Passer/Digger) and train those skills required of the position. The camps will work in cooperation with each other. Setter will be taught the technical aspects of the position (hand & feet position, movement, variety of set types) as well as defense and serving. Passer/Diggers will receive a technical breakdown of the skills and receive max repetitions during each camp session. Focus will be on passing, defense, serving, and second ball contacts. The two different positions will work together on defensive transitions and serve and pass drills. The camp is designed to get maximum repetitions on these two very important skills.

Advanced Position Camp
DATES: Monday, July 23rd - Wednesday, July 25th
AGES: 11-18 years old (Entering Grades 7 - 12), both male and female
PRICE: $545 Overnight, $395 Day Camp
Location: Haas Pavilion; RSF Field House
Players will receive specific instruction based on position (Setter, Libero, Middle, Outside) during the morning sessions, with afternoon and evening sessions devoted to small group instruction and team games. This camp is designed for experienced players looking to develop and train in the environment similar to the Cal Volleyball Program. Participants should have some experience at the intermediate or advanced level for this camp and should be entering grades 7 - 12 in the fall of 2012.
Overnight option is for FEMALE PARTICIPANTS ONLY. Male Participants are encouraged to join the camp as DAY CAMP PARTICIPANTS ONLY.

IN-BETWEEN CAMP NIGHT STAY FOR OVERNIGHT CAMPERS ATTENDING BOTH THE ADVANCED POSITION CAMP AND THE ADVANCED SKILLS CAMP
Campers who are attending the Advanced Position Camp (July 23-25) AND the Advanced Skills Camp (July 26-28) as overnighters who need accommodations on Wednesday night July 25th, will be able to purchase this option for $60 as you complete the online registration process. This fee does not include meals, so bring some money and you may pay at the dining center for dinner on the 25th and Breakfast on the 26th.
You will check in as normal on the 1st day of the Advanced Position Camp (July 23-25) and check out of your room the morning of July 25th. You will then check in to the Advanced Skills Camp (July 26-28) as normal and check out of that camp as normal.

Advanced Skills Camp
DATES: Thursday, July 26th - Saturday, July 28th
AGES: 11-18 years old (Entering Grades 7 - 12), both male and female
PRICE: $545 Overnight, $395 Day Camp

The Advanced Skills Camp is designed for intermediate to advanced players looking to get technical and tactical feedback to improve their skill set in all facets of the game. The camp incorporates fundamental skill instruction in combination with advanced training techniques, specific positional training, and game/match preparation sessions. Participants should have some experience at the intermediate or advanced level for this camp and should be entering grades 7 - 12 in the fall of 2012.
Overnight option is for FEMALE PARTICIPANTS ONLY. Male Participants are encouraged to join the camp as DAY CAMP PARTICIPANTS ONLY.

Due to University and NCAA Policies, we are not allowed to offer any transportation to and from camps. The airport closest to the Berkeley campus is Oakland International Airport; San Francisco International Airport is also within a reasonable distance. There are several options that we suggest.
There are a few shuttle services that offer transportation to and from Oakland & San Francisco International Airports. Reservations must be made at least a few days in advance, you can make reservations over the phone or online.
