2010 CAL MEN'S WATER POLO CLINIC

In conjunction with USA Water Polo and the annual Fisher Cup, the University of California Men's Water Polo program is proud to offer the Boys High Performance Water Polo Clinic & Sean Nolan Goalkeeper Academy. One of the most highly respected and successful water polo coaches in the country, two-time Olympian and Cal Head Coach, Kirk Everist, along with Associate Head Coach Boyd Lachance as well as 2000 Olympian and Goalkeeper Coach Sean Nolan, have created a culture of excellence for their student-athletes in the great Olympic sport of water polo. This clinic mirrors the Cal program, which builds self-esteem and delivers strategies for success both in and out of the water polo pool.

Clinic Philosophy: This clinic has limited space to ensure individual attention and this also allows Coach Everist and his staff to utilize the philosophy of education and coaching, which is essential to a high performance athlete. The clinic will consist of a minimum of two hours of "in-the-pool" instruction as well as an evening with Cal Water Polo which includes guest coaches/speakers as well as other engaging activities. Participants should have at least one year of club or high school water polo experience. The clinic is open to boys ages 12 through 18. Snacks and beverages are included for all participating campers.

As a part of the registration fee, each participant will receive an All-Tournament pass to come to Cal and watch the exciting Fisher Cup action throughout the weekend.

For more information on the Fisher Cup, please visit: www.usawaterpolo.org

Clinic will be held at Spieker Aquatics Complex, home to Golden Bear Waterpolo.
