Derrick Hill had the first forced fumble of his career and the first fumble recovery of his career. As he chose to recover that ball in the end zone, Hill also just scored the first touchdown of his career.

Cal down by just two, 15-13 with just over nine minutes left in the third quarter.

Actually, this is the fourth game that Oregon has trailed this season. They previously trailed Tennessee 6-3, Stanford 21-3, and USC 10-8.They trail Cal 7-0 in the second quarter.

Touchdown Vereen!

Shane Vereens' five consecutive rushes put Cal in the end zone and gave the Bears a 7-0lead. Vereen took a second-down hand-off 31 yards to start the drive (his 4th longest rush of the season). He followed with a 9 yarder, two fours, and a one-yard jump into theend zone for Cal's 7-0 first quarter lead.

Today's game is being broadcast in both 2D and 3D on Versus. The 3D broadcast takes an entirely different set of cameras, such as this one with dual lenses.

It's Scout Day at Memorial Stadium. The FunZone was crawling with scouts of all ages. The scouts were also treated to an autograph session with some Cal Bear players.
