Shane Vereen just hit a career high with 198 yards on 19 carries with 10:41 still left in the game. Vereen's previous high was 193 yards in the Big Game last year at Stanford.
The Cal Ladies zoomed up the standings in the second round. After starting their second round of 18 for the day in ninth place, the gals dropped nine strokes off the team score in the second round, coming in at four-under for their second 18 of the day.

Kevin Riley has just thrown his fourth TD of the game, the first time he has had four TD's in a game since the season opener last year against Maryland.
With the touchdown, Riley moves past Aaron Rodgers on the career TD list. Riley ranks sixth with 44 career TD's. Rodgers had 43.
The one-yard toss to Isi Sofele was the first receiving touchdown for the sophomore tailback. He had a rushing touchdown last season.
Redshirt freshman DB Steve Williams just pulled in his first career interception. Williams hauled in a long pass attempt from Colorado QB Tyler Hansen at the Bears 18. Hansen and the Buffs had been back at their own 30 when he attempted the longball taken away by Williams.
It was the third interception of the game for the Cal defense. It was the first time Cal has had three interceptions in a game since playing at Minnesota last season.
Kevin Riley opened a Cal fourth-quarter drive with a 62-yard strike to Marvin Jones. The 62-yard reception is a career long for Jones. It is two yards shy of Riley's longest pass completion.
Two plays later, Cal was in the end zone with an eight yard pass from Riley to freshman Keenan Allen.
Cal goes up 38-7 with 12:00 left in the game.

The Bears ended the second quarter the same way it began, with an interception. Mike Mohamed had the pick and the 41-yard run back for the score. It was Mohamed's second career interception TD of his career.
Cal goes into the half with a 31-0 lead. The Bears now have kept their opponents off the board in five of the six quarters they have played this season.
The Buffs did not make it into Cal territory in the first half, playing every down on their own side of the 50.
The Bears racked up three sacks in the period. Mychael Kendricks had one. Jarred Price had two.
The Bears first play of the second quarter was an interception by Bryan Nnabuife, his first career interception.
The Buffaloes had -8 yards of total offense in the first quarter (-19 rushing, 11 passing).
Riley connected with Marvin Jones for a four-yard TD.
It was the 42nd career touchdown for Riley, putting him one shy of Aaron Rodgers for sixth place on the career passing TD list.
Jones has a streak of 15 straight games with a reception.
After Colorado went three and out, Ross just busted out a 23-yard return, giving Cal a first and ten at the Buff's 19. Riley completes a pass in the end zone to Shane Vereen, a 13-yard completion. Bears take an early 7-0 lead with 7:22 left in the first quarter.
Shane Vereen has now caught a pass in every game of his career (27 games). This was also his fifth receiving touchdown.
