Head men's basketball coach Mike Montgomery, sophomore guard Allen Crabbe and sophomore forward Richard Solomon each talked to the media after tonight's victory over McNeese State. Here is what they had to say.

Allen Crabbe banked in a three-pointer as time expired in the first half to give No. 24 Cal a 28-26 lead over McNeese at the break and the Bears never looked back en route to a 73-57 victory over the Cowboys tonight at Haas Pavilion. Senior guard Jorge Gutierrez led Cal with 26 points - the most points by a Cal player in a game this season - as he and Crabbe combined for 46 of the Bears' 73 points on the night.

Cal improved its record to a perfect 5-0 at home and 6-1 overall with tonight's victory over the Cowboys to match the Bears' best start under head coach Mike Montgomery. McNeese state fell to 3-3 overall with the loss.

The Bears did most of their work in the second half with 45 points in the final period. Cal shot 62.5 percent from the field in the second half to pull away from the Cowboys.

Crabbe finished the contest 4-of-8 from three-point land and 8-of-15 overall to give him 20 points for the evening. Gutierrez was 11-of-15 from the field, including 2-of-3 from three-point range to go along with six rebounds and five assists in 34 minutes of action.

Cal had a pair of 20-point scorers for the first time this season in Gutierrez and Crabbe.

The Bears are back in action on Sunday, Dec. 4 at San Diego State at 2 p.m.

Press conferences coming up shortly.
