Frandsen, who won silver in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, will row in the pair, while Dean will row in the four in the London games.
Frandsen and Dean join U.S. rowing men's eight head coach Mike Teti, U.S. rowing assistant coach Laurel Korholz, U.S. Women's lightweight double sculls coach Dave O'Neill, Julie Nichols (U.S. women's lightweight double sculls), Zach Vlahos (U.S. men's eight), Erin Cafaro (U.S. women's eight), Kara Kohler (U.S. women's quad sculls), Elliot Hovey (U.S. men's quad sculls) and Olivier Siegelaar (Netherlands men's rowing) as Golden Bears in the 2012 Olympics.
