Led by junior Max Homa's three-under par 32 on the front nine this morning, the men's golf team has surged up the leader board from 15th to eighth at the NCAA Championships at The Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
Homa's round included three birdies and an up-and-down out of the bunker on nine to save par and make him bogey-free at the turn.
Homa would go on to birdie the 10th hole to move to four-under through his first 10 holes of the day, vaulting him up the player leader board 74 spots into a tie for 24th overall.
