KPIX, the CBS affiliate in San Francisco, profiled sisters Jolene and Danielle Henderson of the softball team. Jolene, a junior, and Danielle, a freshman, have both played important roles for the top-ranked Golden Bears this season.
Jolene is a National Player of the Year candidate heading into the NCAA Championships with a 30-2 record and 1.22 earned run average to go along with 249 strikeouts in 211.2 innings in the circle this season. Danielle has started 53 of the Bears' 54 games in her first season in Berkeley with a .299 batting average and 14 home runs (third-most on the team).
