The Oakland Raiders announced on Monday night they have re-signed former Cal standout safety Matt Giordano.
Giordano played in 15 games with eight starts in his first season with the Raiders in 2011. He recorded 52 tackles, one sack, and a team-leading five interceptions.
Giordano played his first four seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, winning the Super Bowl after the 2006 season. He has eight interceptions in his seven-year career.
