The men's golf team won its first Pac-12 Conference title in school history when the Golden Bears captured the championship on the second playoff hole yesterday at Trysting Tree Golf Club.
The Bears started the day six shots off the pace of third-round leader Oregon and remained five back with three holes to go before catching the Ducks and forcing a playoff when Brandon Hagy drained a 40-foot birdie putt on the 18th green.
