Gutierrez defended Weber State's Damian Lillard, who came in averaging 26.4 points per game, and held the Wildcat to a season-low 14 points on 4-of-17 shooting from the field and 3-of-10 from three-point range.
Crabbe added 16 points for the Bears, who cruised to their third-straight victory. As a team, Cal held Weber State to just 17.1 percent shooting from the floor in the first half and 31.3 percent overall in the game.
Weber State, who recorded just 18 first-half points, was led by Scott Bamforth, who poured in 19 points for the Wildcats.
Cal returns to action Monday, Dec. 19 when the Bears face UC Santa Barbara at Haas Pavilion at 7:30 p.m.
