California cruises to 70-48 victory over UNLV to capture the Doubletree by Hilton Berkeley Marina Classic title today. The Bears shot nearly 40 percent and out-rebounded the Lady Rebels by 18 (50-32) en route to the win. Cal improved to 6-2 overall with their third-straight victory.

Reshanda Gray poured in 23 points with four rebounds and a block to win tournament MVP honors, while teammate Brittany Boyd came close to a triple-double with nine rebounds, nine assists and seven rebounds to earn a spot on the all-tournament team.

Kelli Thompson scored a game-high 27 points to lead UNLV (7-2) in today's contest.

Cal returns to action on Thursday at Saint Mary's in Moraga at 7 p.m.
