Vollmer anchored the fourth-place 800-meter freestyle relay for the United States, which posted a time of 7:38.42 in the final. Coughlin qualified for the 100-meter backstroke final by taking fourth place in the semifinal with a time of 57.61. She swam the fifth-fastest time (57.91) in the 100 back in Wednesday's preliminary heats.

With the fall semester coming to a close, it's time to reward our current Men's Basketball student pass holders with even more cool stuff.

On Wednesday, Dec. 22, all 2010-11 Men's Basketball student season pass holders can each bring ONE FRIEND FOR FREE to the highly anticipated match-up against Kansas at Haas Pavilion, scheduled for an 8pm tip-off!

HERE ARE THE DETAILS
- Student season pass holders can bring one (1) friend for free to the Cal-Kansas game on Dec. 22
- Your friend DOES NOT have to be a Cal student, it can be anyone - so bring mom or dad, your bro or sis, your cousin, or your BFF who goes to another school, etc. etc. etc!
- You and your friend MUST enter through the student gate at Haas Pavilion (Gate 5)
- If a student pass holder transfers their ticket, the recipient is also allowed to bring a friend

Remember, seating capacity on The Bench is limited to about 400 pass holders/friends, so get to Haas early for the best available seating - doors open at 6:30pm!

Got questions? Call the Athletic Ticket Office at (800) GO BEARS, M - F, 9am-4pm.

If you don't have your student season pass yet, what are you waiting for? Click here to get yours today so you can bring a friend to the Kansas game!
