Tavecchio hits a 53 yard field goal as time expires in the 1st half to give Cal a 3-0 lead. With 17 seconds before halftime, Cal took over the ball at its 34-yard line. Eventually with 1st and 10 at the UW 43, Cal threw a 6-yard pass to get to the UW 37. Cal called a timeout with one second left, and Tavecchio hit his FG. It's the 5th time this year Cal has shut out an opponent at halftime.
