In an effort to reduce the amount of waste generated at Memorial Stadium, Cal Athletics has instituted a new recycling program for the remainder of the 2010 season, which includes participation in the Environmental Protection Agency's Gameday Challenge, a nationwide endeavor encouraging universities to promote waste reduction at football games this fall.

The efforts began at the UCLA game and will continue through the remainder of the season. Look for these recycling bins near the front gates and throughout the stadium and deposit your plastics into the receptacles.
