Wi and Tomasulo Have Opening-Round Leads; Hagy in Second

Follow... Wi at the Travelers | Tomasulo at the Mexican Open | Hagy at the Rice Planters

Former Cal men's golfers Charlie Wi and Peter Tomasulo both sit atop leader boards of their respective PGA and Nationwide events after each shot an opening-round eight-under par 64 on Thursday.

Wi was one of four players to fire the score at the Travelers Championship being played through Sunday at the TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut.

Tomasulo is alone at the top of the leader board at the Mexico Open Bicentenary also being played through Sunday at the El Bosque Country Club in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico.

Hagy is in second place two shots off the lead after posting back-to-back rounds of 67 over the last two days at the Rice Planters Amateur Tournament that will continue through Saturday at the Snee Farm Country Club in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
