Former Cal national champion Dana Vollmer posted the Golden Bears' best result on June 9 at the Mare Nostrum meet in Barcelona, taking second place in the 100-meter butterfly in the long-course competition. The meet ends tomorrow in Spain; then the Mare Nostrum series moves on to Canet en Roussillon, France, for its final two-day meet, running June 12-13.
