Results from the first day of action at the NCAA San Diego Regional are now in and the Bears are one of four teams tied for first place with a six-over par team score of 294. Cal shares the lead with Oregon, Tennessee and UNLV after the first 18 holes of action.

Michael Weaver posted the best round by a Cal player and is in third-place overall two shots off the lead after firing a two-under par 70. Brandon Hagy (18th-T, 74, +2), Stephen Hale (25th-T, 75, +3), Max Homa (25th-T, 75, +3) and Eric Mina (40th-T, 76, +4) also competed for the Bears.
