Bears in 5th, Weaver tied for 4th

In the latest update from the NCAA San Diego Regional, the modified version of the Golfstat Live Scoring system shows the Golden Bears moving into sole possession of fifth place with a current team score of 11-over par (five-over today). The Golden Bears trail leader Oregon (+4), Tennessee (+6), UNLV (+8) and Central Florida (+9). New Mexico State (+14), Augusta State (+14), host San Diego State (+15), Missouri (+20) and UC Irvine (+21) are the next five teams chasing the Bears for the fifth and final berth to the NCAA Championships they are currently holding on to.

Cal's Michael Weaver is the lone Bear currently on the player leader board and is in a fourth-place at one-under for the tournament (+1 today). Weaver is three shots off the pace currently being set by Eddie Olson (-4), Daniel Miernicki and Nick Dello are currently tied for second at -2, while Weaver and Stuart Ballingall are another shot back in a tie for fourth.
