Both had solid opening rounds with Hahn firing a 66 and Tomasulo a 68, but Hahn skied to a five-over par 76 on Friday for an even-par two-day total of 142, while Tomasulo made 73 and was one-under after two rounds with a score of 141. The cut came at 140, but neither should feel too bad as both finished ahead of former San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jerry Rice, who also missed the cut with a two-day 17-over par total of 159 in his debut as a professional golfer. Rice played much better in the second round with a 76 after shooting an 83 on Thursday.
