Cal's Eric Mina (top photo) remains in sole possession of second place at the 2010 Pac-10 Men's Golf Championship at 12-under par. Mina, who started his round Tuesday on the 10th hole, just made the turn at three-under par with birdies on the par-five 10th and 14th holes, as well as the par-three 16th.

Mina is two shots behind second-round leader Jesper Kennegard of Arizona State, who is 14-under for the tournament and one-under today.

IMG_2222_for_web.jpgMina's teammate Michael Weaver (bottom photo) is making his own dramatic run on Tuesday with a seven-under par score through 12 holes to move up 16 spots from where he started the day into a tie for fourth place at 10-under for the tournament. Weaver, who also started on the back nine, has five birdies (10, 14, 15, 1, 2) and an eagle (17) to go along with six pars heading into the day's final six holes.

Follow Eric and Michael hole-by-hole in their quest to become the first Cal men's golfer to win Pac-10 medalist honors since Charlie wi captured the title in 1995. No other Golden Bear has ever won the title.

As a team, Cal is currently in seventh place at 13-under for the tournament and sive-under for day with Bear golfers currently having finished the ninth through 15th holes.

Other Cal player updates include...
Brandon Hagy (T19th, -4 tournament, +2 today thru 12)
Chad Vivolo (53rd, +6 tournament, -1 today thru 12)
James Core (T54th, +7 tournament, +2 today thru 12)
Evan Derian (T59th, +7 tournament, +16 today thru 15)
