Eric Mina has moved into sole possession of second place at the 2010 Pac-10 Men's Golf Championship at 11-under par. Mina, who started his round Tuesday on the 10th hole, is two-under par through his first six holes today with birdies on the par-five 10th and 14th holes.
He has moved to within two shots of second-round leader Jesper Kennegard of Arizona State, who posted a 13-under par score over his first 36 holes on Monday. Kennegard teed off at 11:16 a.m. today but none of his scores have been reported yet.
Follow Eric hole-by-hole in his quest to become the first Cal men's golfer to win Pac-10 medalist honors since Charlie wi captured the title in 1995. No other Golden Bear has ever won the title.
As a team, Cal started today's round tied for seventh with and has currently moved past the Ducks into sole possession at 11-under for the tournament and five-under for day with Bear golfers currently having finished the sixth through ninth holes.
