Football

The image below details the minimum donations for specific sections. Seat Donations for football must be received by April 30, 2013.

2013 California Memorial Stadium Seating and Pricing Map

In the spring of 2013, all renewing football season ticket holders will have the opportunity to improve their season ticket location from the 2012 season via at the 2013 Select-a-seat event. For complete information on the 2013 Select-a-seat event, please click here:

The renovated west side of California Memorial Stadium also offers premium club seating options through the Endowment Seating Program (ESP). For more information, please visit CalESP.com.

Accounts that are not renewed by the requested deadlines for either ticket or donation renewals are subject to relocation of season tickets.

While Cal Athletics makes every attempt to fulfill each request, a gift does not guarantee an assignment in a specific lot or location. A donation represents a charitable contribution to Cal Athletics and its student-athletes, and is non-refundable.

Men's Basketball

Haas Pavilion has two levels of donor seating, chairback and premium bench seating. Renewing season ticket holders must reach an annual giving level (listed below), based on the type and quantity of season tickets.

Premium Bench Chairback
QTY Level QTY Level
1 Bear Club ($600) 1 Golden C Club ($1,200)
2 Golden C Club ($1,200) 2 Coaches Club ($2,500)
3 or 4 Coaches Club ($2,500) 3 or 4 Andy Smith Club ($5,000)
5+ Andy Smith Club ($5,000) 5+ Pappy Waldorf Club ($10,000)

To review all other benefits at these levels please click here.

Chairback seating is attained through an initial one-time donation of $5,000 per seat; premium bench seating is attained through a one-time donation of $2,500 per seat. These gifts reflect the contributions made by donors to the original Haas Pavilion Capital Campaign. Beginning with the season following the completion of the initial one-time donation, the annual giving levels must be maintained.

Tax Deductibility

According to the IRS, seat donations are not fully tax deductible. Donors may write off 80% of the seat donation for their season tickets. Therefore, contributions from funds such as IRA accounts, donor-advised funds, or private foundations that require 100% deductibility may not be used for seat donations.

Football and Men's Basketball Parking

Parking passes are available to season ticket holders for football and men's basketball. For football, donors at the Golden C level ($1,200) and above receive complimentary parking. Donations must be made by April 30, 2013, to qualify for a football complimentary pass. Football complimentary parking passes will not be awarded for donations after April 30.

For men's basketball, donors at the Andy Smith level ($5,000) and above receive complimentary parking. Donations must be made by June 30, 2013, to qualify for a men's basketball complimentary pass. Men's basketball complimentary parking passes will not be awarded for donations after June 30.

University Parking and Transportation determines the lots available for each sport annually. The available lots are subject to change each year, making it impossible to guarantee an assignment in a specific lot. Pass holders who wish to park in a specific lot must make their request at the time of ticket renewal, and are encouraged to include more than one option.

While Cal Athletics makes every attempt to fulfill each request, a gift does not guarantee an assignment in a specific lot or location. A donation represents a charitable contribution to Cal Athletics and its student-athletes, and is non-refundable.

Gameday Hospitality

Gameday Hospitality is a great way to spend your football or men's basketball gameday for both pre-game and halftime.

Football Hospitality (Formerly Known as Hall of Fame Room)
The details of football hospitality are currently being determined. The Cal Athletic Development Office will announce details regarding football hospitality passes once they become available.

Men's Basketball Hospitality (Haas Club Room)
Men's Basketball Hospitality gives access to amenities such as:

  • Upgraded Food and Beverages (Beer and Wine)
  • Seated areas and tables
  • Televisions with other games in progress
  • A true Cal gameday environment

Donors must hold men's basketball season tickets to receive an invitation to gameday hospitality. Donors at the Coaches Club level ($2,500) and Andy Smith Level ($5,000) may purchase a season pass to the Haas Club Room for pregame only. Donors at Pappy Waldorf Club ($10,000) and above receive 2 complementary season passes for pregame and halftime, and may purchase additional passes for pregame and halftime. In all cases the total quantity of passes may not exceed the number of season tickets held, with a maximum of 4.
