AS A FRESHMAN (2003): Finished with 22 goals as a true freshman and was the Bears' top scorer in six matches...paced Cal with three goals versus Pepperdine, and with four goals against Princeton...scored a goal against eventual national champion USC in the Bears' overtime victory in the semifinals of the Norcal Cal Tournament at Stanford...tallied goals against Long Beach State and USC in the MPSF Tournament...was featured as a top freshman athlete in the Sept. 9, 2003 and Mar. 25, 2004 issues of Sports Illustrated's On Campus...took the spring semester off to train with the USA Senior National Team...
