Golden Bear Day - Aug. 24

Fans of all ages are invited to the inaugural Golden Bear Day presented by Bug Zappers Pest Control on Saturday, Aug. 24 from 2-4pm PT. The free event (formerly Football Fan Appreciation Day) will allow fans to meet, take photos and receive autographs from over 300 student-athletes representing many of Cal’s 29 sports, including the entire football team. Cal Spirit will also be on hand for photos including the cannon, Oski, Cheer, Dance and Rally Committee.

Golden Bear Day will take place on Lisa and Douglas Goldman Plaza inside California Memorial Stadium.

Fans may enter Memorial Stadium from gates 2, 3, 4 or 5, located on the west side of the stadium, adjacent to Piedmont Ave and the Simpson Center for Student Athlete High Performance.

- First 3,000 fans receive an exclusive 11x17 autograph card
- Team flyers (while supplies last)

Each fan is allowed to have one item autographed per team to ensure speed of lines.
Photos may only be taken with student-athletes by front of table.

Lines will be blocked starting at 3:30pm to ensure the event ends promptly at 4:00pm.
Teams will be spaced throughout Lisa and Douglas Goldman Plaza.

Baseball, men’s crew, men’s basketball, field hockey, football (entire team), men’s and women’s gymnastics, lacrosse, men’s and women’s swimming, men’s and women's tennis, track & field, volleyball, men's and women’s water polo.

Scavenger hunt for a chance to win a Cal Fan Experience Package
Kid’s activities - face painting, temporary tattoo station, bean bag toss, poster making, equipment try on, and a photo station.

Select concession stands will be open for fans to purchase food and drink.

Pick up the latest Cal merchandise before the season starts.

2013 football, volleyball and basketball ticket sales information will be available.
