Barbour Set To Join Dykes on Radio Show

Men's Water Polo's Collin Smith will also be on the show

Director of Athletics Sandy Barbour and men's water polo student-athlete Collin Smith will appear on this week's edition of Inside the Locker Room presented by Weatherford BMW of Berkeley with football head coach Sonny Dykes, offensive quality control staff member Hunter McWilliams and placekicker Vincenzo D'Amato. Fans are invited to tune in to Cal’s weekly radio show on KGO AM 810 or watch in person from the Field Club inside Memorial Stadium. The program will air on Wednesday each week from 7-8 p.m. through March.

The Cal football team returns to Memorial Stadium this Saturday for the final home game of the season. The Bears face USC on Saturday, Nov. 9. at noon. The game will be broadcast on FOX, or Cal fans can tune in to KGO AM 810 or listen live on TuneIn. D'Amato will be one of 13 Bears playing for the final time at Memorial Stadium.

Smith and the fifth-ranked men's water polo team topped Long Beach State in its most-recent contest, 10-9, in Long Beach. The Bears have won five of their last six matches. This week Cal opens a three-game homestand starting with USC on Saturday, Nov., 9, at 10 a.m. The match can be seen on the Pac-12 Networks

Hosted by Todd McKim, Inside the Locker Room features guests from throughout Cal Athletics. In the fall, listeners can expect to hear from Dykes each week, along with players and assistant coaches. In addition, student-athletes and coaches from Cal’s Olympic sports and others with Golden Bear ties will make regular appearances.

Fans coming to the Field Club should enter Memorial Stadium through Gate 2 at the northwest corner of the facility. Cal Dining will offer food for sale, including such items as hamburgers, hot dogs, wings, Portobello sandwiches and sweet potato fries.
