BERKELEY - California senior guard Mikayla Lyles all earned honorable mentions.
To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade point average and either be a starter or a significant contributor.
The honors are split into a five-member first team and a five-member second team.
Clarendon, an American Studies major with a 3.47 cumulative grade point average, was also a second team All-Academic selection last season. She was an honorable mention in 2010-11.
The Bears had three players earn honorable mentions: senior center Mikayla Lyles (Media Studies major).
