California matches the 2007-08 and 2008-09 teams for most conference wins in a season at 15. Those two teams both went 15-3, a mark this season's Bears will have a chance to pass next week with two games remaining.
California improves to a progra-best 13th consecutive victory, the longest winning streak of the season for the Bears and the current longest winning streak in the Pac-12.
With their 13-game winning streak in conference play, the Bears have surpassed the previous-best Pac-12 winning streak of 11 set in the 2008-09 season as well as the previous program-record for overall winning streak (also set in 2008-09).
California remains atop the Pac-12 standings at 15-1 in the conference.
California has guaranteed itself a top two seed at the Pac-12 Tournament with its victory. The Bears (15-1) hold a three-game lead over current third-place team UCLA (12-4) with only two games remaining. It is the fourth time in the last six years that Cal will finished in the top two in the conference.
Cal leads the all-time series 37-28, including a streak of 14 straight wins which makes Cal's winning streak over the Beavers their longest active streak against any Pac-12 opponent.
California did not lead at the half for just the fourth time this season with its (30-18) deficit against Oregon State, and the Bears are 3-1 in those games. The Bears did not lead against Duke (trailed, lost) or in either game against Colorado (1st Meeting - tied, won; 2nd Meeting - trailed, won).
Cal was held to a season-low 18 points in a half after being down 30-18 at halftime. The previous low was 20 points in the first half of a 77-63 loss at No. 4 Duke.
California had its biggest comeback of the season after railing by 17 points (28-11) with 4:16 to go in the first half. The previous best comeback was when the Bears trailed by 16 against then-No. 20 Colorado before winning 59-56.
INDIVIDUAL PLAYER NOTES
Returned to the staring lineup after missing Friday's game against Oregon (groin). Boyd finished with (9) points, (6) rebounds and (2) steals.
Earned her 14th double-double of the season and 29th of her career with her (16) points and (11) rebounds.
Finished with a game-high (26) points, her eighth 20+ points game of the season and 20th of her career. It was just two shy of her season high and three shy of her career high.
