TEAM NOTES
• California started the starting lineup of Clarendon (G), Boyd (G), Jemerigbe (G), Brandon (F) and Caldwell (F) for the ninth consecutive game

• With a 33-32 lead, California has led at the half of all but one game this season (at #4 Duke)

• Became the sixth team in program history to begin a season 8-1 (`86-87, `92-93, `06-07, `07-08, `08-09)

• California moves to 3-1 in the all-time series against Northwestern. The two teams last played exactly 14 years ago on Dec. 17, 1998 in an 88-76 Cal victory.

• The Bears end their road swing going 3-1 against Old Dominion, Duke, CSU Bakersfield and Northwestern.

• The six-point margin of victory was the closest game of the season for the Bears. No other game this season has been decided by fewer than 14 points.

Eliza Pierre
• Played in 29 consecutive games for California before missing Monday's matchup due to illness. Pierre has played in 113 out of a possible 116 games thus far in her career.
