• Matches the best start in program history at 9-1. The only other squad to go 9-1 in a season was the 1992-93 team.

• California's first win over a ranked program since defeating then-No. 22 Virginia 59-50 on Nov. 27, 2011.

• California's first HOME win against a ranked team since defeating then-No. 9 Stanford 57-54 on Jan. 18, 2009

• California started the starting lineup of Clarendon (G), Boyd (G), Jemerigbe (G), Brandon (F) and Caldwell (F) for the 10th consecutive game

• With a 42-35 lead, California has led at the half of all but one game this season (at #4 Duke). The Bears have won each game that they have led at the break.

• California moves to 4-1 in the all-time series against Kansas. The two teams last played exactly five years ago on Dec. 21, 2007 in a 74-41 Cal victory.

• The Bears improve to a perfect 6-0 on the year at Haas Pavilion.

• Five Bears hit double digits Friday night - Brandon, Caldwell, Clarendon, Gray, Jemerigbe

Gennifer Brandon
• Posted her sixth double-double of the season with 17 points and 10 rebounds. It was her second double-double of the week after going 11p-10r at Northwestern.

Talia Caldwell
• Hit double digits in scoring for the second time this week with 12 points. Caldwell scored a season high 16 points at Northwestern on Monday.

Layshia Clarendon
• Scored a season high 28 points on 11-for-19 shooting. She was one shy of her career best.

Afure Jemerigbe
• Had 10 points after being held to less than five in each of Cal's last three games. Her last double-digit outing was 11 points against Eastern Washington.

Eliza Pierre
• Returned to action, playing 15 minutes, after missing the Northwestern game to illness

• Gottlieb called a timeout with the Bears trailing 8-4 at the 18:27 mark in the first half, and California immediately responded with an 11-0 run over the next three and a half minutes to take a 15-8 lead.

• Tonight's Attendance: 3,009
