BERKELEY - After recording its third-consecutive 20-win season with a 77-64 victory over Utah Valley on Wednesday in the first round of the National Invitation Tournament (NIT), California hosts Arkansas Monday (March 24) at 8 p.m. (PT) at Haas Pavilion in Berkeley, Calif. with a berth in the NIT quarterfinals on the line. The Golden Bears and Razorbacks will square off for the second time this season, after Cal posted an 85-77 win in the EA SPORTS Maui Invitational in Hawaii on Nov. 25.

Fans can purchase tickets to Monday's contest here. Tickets are FREE for Cal students thanks to head coach Mike Montgomery and the California men's basketball program. Students must show their Cal 1 card at the ticket office outside Haas Pavilion on game day to get their complimentary ticket to the game.

• The Bears, 20-13 overall this season, are enoying their winninest six-year stretch in school history since head coach Mike Montgomery arrived in Berkeley for the start of the 2008-09 campaign.

• This is Cal’s 26th postseason appearance in school history and eighth in the NIT. The Bears, who previously appeared in the NIT during the 2011 season, captured the 1999 tournament title and reached the quarterfinals in 1987 and 2000.

Monday’s game will be televised on ESPN2 with Roxy Bernstein (play-by-play) and Bill Walton (analyst) on the call. The Cal/IMG radio network will broadcast the action on KGO 810 AM in the Bay Area beginning at 7:30 p.m. (PT) with Todd McKim (play-by-play) and Jay John (analyst).
