  • ·         With tonight’s 77-64 victory over Utah Valley, the Bears are now 13-6 all-time in the NIT and have advanced past the first round seven times
  • ·         Cal’s halftime lead tonight was its first since Feb. 15 at Washington
  • ·         The Bears’ 43 first-half points was their most at halftime since scoring 46 at Oregon on Jan. 9.

Head Coach Mike Montgomery

  • Registered his 676th career win, moving him into sole possession of 26th place on the all-time NCAA list
  • Notched his fifth 20-win season in six seasons at Cal

Junior forward David Kravish

  • Tied a career-high with five blocks
  • Now has 69 blocks this season, building on his own single-season record
  • For his career, Kravish has 173 blocks, which ranks second in school annals.
  • Registered his sixth double-double this season with 14 points, 10 rebounds

Freshman guard Jordan Mathews

  • Had a career-high seven rebounds

Senior guard Justin Cobbs

  • With 13 points Wednesday, moved into 11th place on Cal's all-time scoring list with 1,442 points in his career
  • With seven assists, now has 518 in his career, three short of Kevin Johnson for third place on Cal's all-time list
