BERKELEY - Tickets are on sale now for the annual California Women's Volleyball Banquet & Awards Presentation, to be held Friday, January 31 at the University Club inside California Memorial Stadium.
The festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. with a reception and silent auction featuring Cal volleyball paraphernalia and more. Dinner will be served at 7:15 with the program and awards presentation to follow at approximately 7:45.
The program will include a season-review from head coach Rich Feller, a presentation by Cal's players, a banquet video and more.
Tickets are $40 per person or $500 per table. Fans wishing to purchase a table will have the choice of being seated with two of Cal's players, which will be designated by the team's staff. The tables seat a maximum of eight and fans have the choice of keeping all eight seats to themselves or being joined by Cal players.
To purchase tickets, click on the accompanying link, print out the invitation, complete it and mail to the listed address. Fans may pay by check or credit card. The RSVP deadline is Jan. 22.
The Bears went 18-13 in 2013 and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. It was Cal’s 12th straight berth in the NCAA Tournament. Junior Christina Higgins was named an AVCA Second Team All-American while senior Joan Caloiaro earned AVCA All-America honorable mention. Senior Adrienne Gehan was named to the All-Pac-12 Team. Eight Cal players were named Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention.
