Johnson Ties for 28th at Patriot All-America

LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. – Cal senior Pace Johnson (69-74-77 – 220, +10) finished third and final-round action Wednesday at the 54-hole 2013 Patriot All-America tied for 28th place. Kyle Westmoreland (67-69-69 – 205, -5) sunk a three-and-a-half foot birdie putt on the sixth playoff hole Wednesday on the Gold Course at The Wigwam to defeat second-place Toni Hakula (72-67-67 – 205, -5).

Johnson had been tied for fifth place in the field of 84 players after an opening-round one-under par 69 on Monday.

Johnson and the remainder of the Cal team will resume its 2013-14 season when the Golden Bears open the 2014 spring portion of their schedule January 27-28 at the Arizona Intercollegiate.
