Advanced softball players have the opportunity to boost their skills with the perennial powerhouse Cal softball team at this summer’s Elite Showcase Camp. Space is still available for Session I of the camp, from June 17-20 at Levine-Fricke Field.

The elite camp is designed to prepare softball players from grades 7 through 12 for advanced-level competition through individual skill development in a highly competitive environment. Campers will learn alongside the Cal coaching staff and current and former Golden Bear softball student-athletes.

Limited space is available for the June 17-20 camp. Each training session is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, visit or contact Camp Director and Assistant Coach Tammy Lohmann at or 510 642-9108.

The Cal softball program owns the nation’s highest active postseason streak, with 28 consecutive postseason berths, including 12 trips to the Women’s College World Series. Cal won the NCAA Softball Championship in 2002 and boasts three conference championship titles from 1987, 2005 and 2012.
