Powell and Cruikshank in Action at Pac-12 Multis

Two Bears will be competing on Saturday and Sunday in Pullman, Wash.

BERKELEY - The California Golden Bears Track & Field team will have two representatives this coming weekend at the Pac-12 Multis Championships on Saturday, May 10 and Sunday, May 11 at Mooberry Track & Field Complex in Pullman, Wash. Junior Jaci Powell and redshirt senior Andrew Cruikshank will be competing in the heptathlon and decathlon, respectively. The heptathlon has a field of 12 competitors, while the decathlon championship will be battled for by 13 competitors. The action begins on Saturday at noon PT with the women's 100-meter dash.

The Multis Championships preclude the Pac-12 Championships the following weekend, when the Bears will be fighting for conference supremacy in both team and individual competitions. Last season, Powell finished fourth, with a PR of 5,351 points.
