BERKELEY – The third and final episode of The Grind documenting the 2014 Cal football training camp will make its debut Monday on the Cal Athletics YouTube page. The episode documents the team’s final week of training camp and includes footage from the team’s annual bowling outing and mic’d up sessions with members of the coaching staff, as well as interviews with head coach Sonny Dykes and members of the team and much more.
“We wanted to give our fans an inside look at training camp and the work we are putting in to prepare for the 2014 season,” Dykes said. “We’re excited about the upcoming year and want to share that excitement with our fans.”
Cal resumes preparation Monday for its 2014 season opener at Northwestern on Saturday, Aug. 30. Kickoff for the ABC/ESPN2 telecast is 2:30 p.m. CT/12:30 p.m. PT.
The Bears will host six games this season on Kabam Field at California Memorial Stadium, starting with the home opener vs. Sacramento State on Saturday, Sept. 6 (Noon, Pac-12 Networks). The Golden Bears will also host Oregon at Levi’s® Stadium in Santa Clara on Friday, Oct. 24 (7 p.m., FOX Sports 1).
