BERKELEY – Cal football fans will have the opportunity to get an all-access inside look at the Golden Bears during the team’s 2014 training camp on The Grind to air on CalBears.com and the Cal Athletics YouTube page (YouTube.com/calathletics). The first of three episodes is scheduled to debut on Monday, Aug. 11, with the second and third shows the following Mondays.
The first episode is slated to include coverage of the team’s move-in day activities and life in Bowles Hall, first team meeting and practice, coaches’ mic’d up sessions, a recap of summer workouts and much more.
“We want to give our fans an inside look at training camp and the work we are putting in to prepare for the 2014 season,” head coach Sonny Dykes said. “We’re excited about the upcoming year and want to share that excitement with our fans.”
Cal held its first training camp practice last Monday and will wrap camp with Golden Bear Day presented by Bug Zappers Pest Control at Kabam Field at California Memorial Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 23 (2-4 p.m. PT).
