Espitia, who has played 19 games with one start in his first two seasons at Cal, moved to an outside linebacker position prior to the beginning of 2014 spring practices, his fifth position at Cal since his arrival in 2012. He started at fullback before moving to tight end for the remainder of his freshman season. Espitia then began the 2013 campaign as an inside receiver, moved to safety during the season and then his current outside linebacker position following the campaign.
