Scouting No. 11 Stanford
Stanford enters the matchup ranked No. 11 in the NFHCA poll with a 13-4 record and 4-1 NorPac mark. A 3-0 Monday night victory over Pacific claimed the West Division Championship for the Cardinal with their eighth shutout of the season. Six players have scored four or more goals this season, led by Hope Burke’s eight goals and team-leading 20 points. Twelve players have scored at least one goal for Stanford, and Dulcie Davies has played all but three minutes in goal, sporting a 0.86 goals against average with 73 saves.

Cal On The Pac-12 Networks
Thursday’s regular season finale against Stanford will air live on the Pac-12 Networks at 3 p.m. The game is the fourth this season and eighth overall for California on the second-year network, with the Bears claiming their first win on the Pac-12 Networks in the last home game televised at Maxwell Family (Dartmouth, 2013).

The Hendrickson Impact
Courtney Hendrickson currently ranks ninth in the NCAA and second in the NorPac with her .788 save percentage and 7.67 saves per game. Hendrickson - who has been hailed for her saving prowess by opposing coaches in nearly every game this season - has saved a program-record 124 saves this season and currently holds three of the top five single-game save performances, including her record 18 saves set earlier this season at No. 3 North Carolina.

Injuries Plague Bears
California has been plagued with the injury bug all season, so much so that the team has been limited to just 14 players (11 starters and three substitutes) or less in each of the last five games. Players missing time at various points this season specifically due to injury have been Andrea Earle, Shannon Elmitt, Clara Goni, Nicole Henrikkson, Lara Kruggel, Taylor Lee and Nicole Wallstedt.

Freshman Filling In
California has relied on a trio of freshmen starters in Sydney Earle, Taylor Lee and Monica Marrazzo in the early going of the season - all three coming in at attacking and midfield positions. In addition, Nicole Henrikkson and Jamie Stankiewicz have seen extended minutes, giving the Bears a young lineup that has performed above expectations for Shellie Onstead to begin the season.

On The Horizon
The Bears travel for the NorPac Tournament in Lynchburg, Va., from November 7-9.
