BERKELEY - After opening the season with a weekend split, the California field hockey team travels east to take on Indiana and Ohio in Bloomington, Ind. The Bears will face the Hoosiers Friday at 11am (PT) before taking on the Bobcats Saturday at 9am (PT).
Both matches will take place at the Indiana Field Hockey Complex on the campus of the University of Indiana. Friday’s game against the Hoosiers will be streamed on BTN Plus with a subscription required to stream at BTN2Go.com.

ZIMMER NAMED FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK Midfielder Alie Zimmer has been named the NorPac Freshman of the Week after scoring both goals in Cal’s season-opening 2-1 overtime win against Fairfield. With her effort, she becomes the first Golden Bear freshman to score a game-winning goal since the 2010 season when Lara Kruggel notched three in her freshman season.
HENDRICKSON IN ELITE COMPANY Senior Courtney Hendrickson ranks third in the NCAA with her career save percentage of .777, falling behind only Yale’s Heather Schlesier and Lock Haven’s Elaina White.
