KHANTY-MANSIYSK, Russia – Cal sophomore Dora Antal scored five goals and fellow sophomore Anna Illes tallied two scores as Hungary crushed Singapore 42-0 in the consolation semifinals of the FINA Women’s Water Polo World Cup on Saturday.

Antal, the 2014 MPSF Newcomer of the Year and a First Team All-American, now has 10 goals for the tournament. Hungary will play Russia on Sunday for Fifth Place.

Meanwhile, Cal sophomore Roser Tarrago scored Spain’s only goals during an 8-2 loss to Australia in the semifinals. Tarrago’s goals came early and kept Spain to within 3-2 in the second quarter before the Australians pulled away.

Tarrago, who earned All-American Honorable Mention last season, is tied for second in the tournament with 17 goals.

Spain, which won the European Championships earlier this month and the World Championships last summer, will now play China for Third Place on Sunday.
