WEST WINDSOR, N.J. – It was another successful day for California men’s crew at the Intercollegiate Racing Championships on Saturday at Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J. as the Golden Bears won all four of their semifinal races, highlighted by a length win in the varsity eight, continuing their charge for a National Championship.

“We had another great day today,” California head men’s crew coach Mike Teti said. “Everyone raced really well. The four kicked it off and created great momentum for the team all the way through to the varsity. Today’s conditions were difficult, and I think each of our boats handled them really well. Today was another step towards a championship. I expect all the finals to be really tight tomorrow.”

Racing concludes at Mercer Lake on Sunday morning, with the Grand Finals in each event to determine the IRA Championship. Fans can watch Sunday's action live by clicking here.
