Antal, Tarrago Earn NCAA All-Tourney Team Honors

Freshmen Recognized For Play During Postseason

Cal freshman Dora Antal was named to the NCAA Championships All-Tournament First Team last weekend while fellow freshman Roser Tarrago earned second team honors.

Antal, the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Newcomer of the Year, helped the Bears to a fourth-place finish at the tourney. She scored four goals, including two against eventual national champions Stanford.

Tarrago scored eight goals during the three games - four against Stanford and two each against Arizona State and USC. The Bears defeated Arizona State in the quarterfinals.

Cal finished the 2014 season with a record of 20-10 and placed third at the MPSF Championships.
