BERKELEY - The California Golden Bears men are ranked first in the latest edition of the Track and Field News dual meet rankings. The Bears, also ranked 23rd overall in the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) poll, are 6-0 in dual meets in 2014, after claiming a dominating victory this past weekend over Bay Area rivals Stanford in the 120th Big Meet in Berkeley.
Cal won the dual meet with a total of 113 points, besting the Cardinal (48) on Saturday at Edwards Stadium. The Bears will be on the road this weekend at the Mt. Sac Relays in southern California, before returning to action in Berkeley for the Brutus Hamilton Invitaional on April 26-27.
